Welcome to the only musical theater summer program where you can experience the full scope of a Broadway performer's intensive training and exciting lifestyle!
Entertainment professionals and celebrity coaches will bring your skills and understanding of the industry to new heights. And with outings to shows and other activities with Broadway artists around New York City, The Broadway Star Experience is as much fun as it is exciting.
The Broadway Star Experience comprises two 6-day standalone sessions that immerse the participants in different aspects of life as professional performers.
July 10-15, 2023
All the excitement of life as a Broadway performer searching for their next role.
Just like all professional actors, you will get a new headshot and prepare your resume along with an audition cut, a dance routine, and a scene. You will also practice voice-over and self-tape audition techniques.
Later, you will audition for a panel of Broadway and Hollywood casting directors, agents, and managers, who will get a copy of your headshot and resume and give you invaluable feedback.
Then you and your castmates will record one of the songs to be published as part of The Broadway Star Experience 2023 EP, benefitting BCEFA.
And to top it all, you will perform in a cabaret-style showcase for friends, families, and Industry professionals.

The exhilarating feeling of being a working performer in New York City!
As any professional actor working in a new production, you –together with your new BSP friends and guided by industry professionals– will develop and workshop a brand new one-hour musical that will include solo and group numbers.
To accomplish that, you will learn new techniques and work on your vocal, dance, and acting skills with our professional director, choreographer, and music director.
Also, as part of the experience, you will record one of the songs from the musical that will be included in The Broadway Star Experience 2023 EP, benefitting BCEFA.
Finally, we will treat you and your new BSP friends to a Broadway show and a talkback (when available) to inspire you before your variety show on an NYC stage.

Applications for minors must be submitted by an adult.
Our admissions committee will review your application and respond via email in 24 hours. If accepted, we will reserve your spot for 72 hours.
