Biography

About Mason Griffin

Mason Griffin is a musical-theater music director, conductor, pianist, accompanist, and vocal coach. His New York work includes the Off-Broadway production of Naked Boys Singing!, performances and cabarets at 54 Below, The Triad, Theatre Row, The Laurie Beechman Theatre, and collaborations with LaGuardia High School, Amas Musical Theatre, the New York Film Academy, and Broadway Classroom.

His music-direction credits include RENT, Les Misérables, The Addams Family, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Little Shop of Horrors, and Dreamgirls. Mason also created No Blue Monday, celebrating Jerry Herman’s music, and brings young performers detailed coaching in musicianship, interpretation, audition preparation, and confident collaboration with an accompanist.
