Enrollment Terms & Conditions

The Broadway Star Project is a New York-based performing-arts training program for young performers, offering Summer Intensives, Cabaret Workshops, Weekend Programs, One-Day Master Classes, and online training with Broadway and industry professionals.

Enrollment & General Policy

  • Enrollment constitutes agreement to all enrollment, cancellation, tuition-credit, media-release, and liability policies.
  • Enrollment is final once registration and payment are submitted, including payment plans.
  • Audition-only programs require formal acceptance before registration.
  • Programs are non-refundable and non-transferable to another student.

Payment Plans

Families selecting a payment plan remain responsible for the full tuition amount whether or not the student participates. A tuition credit does not cancel, reduce, or pause remaining payment obligations.

Cancellation Notice

  • Summer Intensives: written notice at least 30 calendar days before the start date.
  • Cabaret Workshops, Weekend Programs, and One-Day Master Classes: at least 15 calendar days.
  • Online Programs: at least 7 calendar days.
  • Later requests are not eligible for refunds or credits.

No-Shows & Health Absences

No-shows are not eligible for refunds or credits. Students showing signs of illness or having a fever within five days of an in-person program may not attend; no refund or credit is issued in this circumstance.

Tuition Credits & Refunds

Refunds are offered only for limited registration errors. Tuition credits are discretionary, not guaranteed, and require written notice to admissions@thebroadwaystarproject.com by the applicable deadline. Online-program credits, when approved, are valid for two years and may be used only for eligible future online programs.

In rare documented emergencies, BSP may issue a full or partial credit minus a $250 administrative fee. Discounts do not carry over, and credits apply against the current program price at re-enrollment.

Registration Errors

A full refund may be issued only for registration errors when written notice is received within 24 hours of the transaction.

Media Release

Students may be photographed, filmed, or recorded during BSP activities. By enrolling, the signer grants BSP permission to use the student’s name, image, voice, and likeness for promotional, educational, and advertising purposes across media, without compensation or additional approval.

Assumption of Risk & Liability

Performing-arts participation involves inherent risks including physical exertion, choreography, and stage movement. The signer assumes those risks and agrees to release and hold harmless BSP, its owners, staff, instructors, and affiliates from claims arising from participation.

Medical Authorization & Acknowledgment

The signer authorizes BSP staff to seek emergency medical care when necessary. Participation is contingent upon acceptance of all applicable policies, and registration confirms that the signer has read, understood, and agreed to them.
