Carly Gendell

Carly Gendell is a Broadway performer and teaching artist who made her Broadway debut in the original cast of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s School of Rock, playing Marcy and understudying Summer. Her stage work also includes A Walk on the Moon at George Street Playhouse and productions of Annie at the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts and Flat Rock Playhouse.

Her screen credits include the award-recognized short film Valid Glitter, The Unsaid, and Wordtastic. As a BSP alumna who moved from intensive training into professional Broadway and screen work, Carly offers young performers a valuable perspective on preparation, resilience, ensemble storytelling, and growing into a sustainable artistic career.
