Biography

About Carlos Encinias

Carlos L. Encinias is a Broadway actor, director, choreographer, writer, and educator with more than two decades of professional theater experience. His Broadway credits include How to Dance in Ohio, Les Misérables, Mamma Mia!, Good Vibrations, and Scandalous, along with the hit Off-Broadway production of Altar Boyz.

As a director and choreographer, Carlos has worked with organizations including Pittsburgh CLO, North Carolina Theatre, Gateway Playhouse, and Adirondack Theatre Festival. He teaches theater and dance at the Professional Performing Arts High School and with arts-education programs, bringing students a practical understanding of versatility, ensemble leadership, storytelling, and the discipline of sustaining a Broadway career.
